I graduated from The University of Utah in 1996. I have worked at our school in various roles for the past 15 years. I have been a volunteer, a reading tutor, and a substitute teacher. I received my Associate Educator License in Elementary Education and began teaching in 2017. I taught third grade for three years, and this is my first year teaching sixth.
I enjoy school, and I love to learn! I like English and math, especially. I love finding and correcting spelling and grammar mistakes wherever I go, and I get really excited about algebra. I love teaching children to read, and I try really hard to pass on my enthusiasm for math to my students, friends, and family.
I like playing the piano, organizing things, and playing board and card games. My favorite food is warm, homemade chocolate chip cookies with a tall glass of cold milk!
